The Makers Guild Dubai (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to purchases made on themakersguild.ae and to anyone who visits our store at Times Square Center, Dubai.
Information we collect
- Account & checkout details — name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
- Order history — the products you buy, order value, dates, and any delivery notes.
- Payment information — card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers on our servers.
- Browsing data — pages visited, device and browser information, and cookies (see below).
- Communications — emails or messages you send us, and your responses to any newsletters you opt into.
How we use your information
- To process orders, take payment, and arrange delivery.
- To send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and any necessary order-related messages.
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
- To improve the store, product selection, and your shopping experience.
- To send marketing emails and newsletters — only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every marketing email.
- To comply with UAE legal and accounting requirements.
Who we share data with
- Stripe — for card payment processing.
- Delivery providers — for courier pickup and fulfilment.
- Email service providers — for sending transactional emails and, if you opt in, marketing emails.
- Analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) — to understand how the site is used.
We never sell your personal data. We only share what is necessary to fulfil your order, run the business, or comply with UAE law.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember items in your cart, and measure site performance. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site (checkout in particular) may not work correctly without them.
How long we keep your data
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required by UAE accounting and tax law. Newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Cart and browsing data is kept for up to 6 months.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing jason@themakersguild.ae. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails directly from any email we send you.
Security
Our site runs on HTTPS (SSL) and card data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.
