These Terms & Conditions govern your use of themakersguild.ae and any purchase you make from The Makers Guild Dubai (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
About us
The Makers Guild Dubai is a concept store representing 50+ independent local makers and artisans. We operate both online at themakersguild.ae and from our physical store at Times Square Center, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Placing an order
When you place an order you’re making an offer to buy at the displayed price. We’ll send an order confirmation email when we accept your order. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order — for example if a product is out of stock, mispriced, or if we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order we will refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
Payment is taken at the time you place your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery timeframes and charges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. We do our best to meet estimated delivery times but cannot guarantee them — customs clearance, courier delays, and UAE public holidays can affect delivery.

Product descriptions and images
Everything on the site is handmade or locally crafted. This means small variations in colour, size, texture, and finish between pieces are normal — they’re part of what makes each item unique. We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can, but displayed colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — product photography, written descriptions, logos, and the site design itself — is owned by The Makers Guild Dubai or the individual makers we work with, and is protected by UAE and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Your account
If you create an account with us, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful — this includes attempting to bypass security, scrape data, disrupt the site, or post abusive content in reviews or comments.
Reviews
Product reviews must be based on genuine experience with the item. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fake, abusive, defamatory, or unrelated to the product.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by UAE law, our liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Dubai.
